Insights
Describe the perfect evening.
It's all about the company, not the venue or activity. Candle light dinner on the beach, and just being with the one I love, or quiet night at home with a home cooked meal. After dinner sitting in front a nice cozy fire cuddled up and watching a movie.
Describe your perfect weekend.
Being out of town, enjoying great company, food and exploring local sights and sounds. A short getaway to Santa Barbara. Like a bed and breakfast!! Enjoying the warmth of the sun in the day and walking along with the stars at night.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
I believe in infatuation/intrigue at first sight. Love takes longer than one glance, love grows in time and love is maintained by how you treat one another.
How many kids would you like to have?
I have one 23 years old daughter, no more kids for me, but, my partner can have kids.
How important is someone's physical appearance to you?
Chemistry and attraction are necessary. It is somewhat important, but physical appearance is subjective. A person's character, intellect and the overall chemistry within a relationship will eclipse physical appearance as time goes on.
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
To see the future and reading minds. To temporarily freeze time. Sometimes you want to just savor the moment for just a bit longer.
What is the purpose of marriage?
Companionship, unconditional support and love. A partnership working together toward the realization of shared goals.
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
Never judge a book by its cover, you can not change anyone and that communication is the most important aspect of a relationship. No time to cry... or cry proudly and come back stronger quickly. Be as independent as possible. Life is beautiful. Cherish all you got. Without communication there is no relation, without respect there is no love, without trust there is no reason to continue
What do your friends like about you most?
My generous spirit, loyalty, and dry/sarcastic sense of humor.
What do your friends tease you about the most?
My almost compulsive need to read the manual, guide, check-in binder and/or similar instructional document(s) in any given situation.
What gets on your nerves?
Unfairness, arrogance, disrespect, rudeness, and ignorance. Lack of humour. Greed Laziness Negativity
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Expressing true feelings. being emotionally open, loyalty, honesty, mutual respect, trust, communication and shared values/goals.
What's the best age to get married?
It’s not about age. It’s about maturity, maturity is the most important.
What turns you off?
Liars, cheaters, poor hygiene, lack of etiquette, lack of common sense, immaturity. Not knowing how to carry oneself in any given situation.
What turns you on?
Politeness, confidence, good conversation, consistency and a man that knows what he wants in life and goes after it. Ability to appreciate great things.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
God willing: to be with soulmate and enjoying life together.
