Expatriate Cyclist Looking to Make Friends Abroad/Relocating to Asia
Former active duty Marine, looking to make friends as I travel. Strongly consider marrying again, but friendship and trust are far more IMportant than infatuation and lust. In my tIMe abroad I have yet to have met anyone from Armenia I was not greatly IMpressed with: in character, bearing, familial and cultural bonds et cetera. Embarrassingly I have not traveled to Armenia, and I cannot wait to go: Valid passport and money no problem; but I do not wish to go as a typical American tourist, as the typical American generally offends me as they have zero understanding of history, culture: one does not make lifelong friends with a single trip to the disco: it takes tIMe; and sometIMes numerous trip back and forth to meet someone that is worth being friends with in life. And as a Veteran, taking tIMe to meet and befriend someone with character and understanding is more IMportant than how many pictures I take of myself and post on facebook. Ignorance.

What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
Losing. Winning is transitory; I have learned more from absolute mind-binding failure, than I ever learned from temporary success. Painful failure is absolutely necessary in life if one is to learn anything about themselves or their world.
What do your friends like about you most?
I do not stop until it's finished.
What do your friends tease you about the most?
They do not tease me. People who tease you are only trying to passively make themselves feel better. Friends who tease you are not your friends.
What gets on your nerves?
People who limit themselves; people who think degrading others is somehow impressive: It is harder to help someone than it is to hurt someone; most people are passive idiots wading through their own stupidity in life; they have neither the ability to help, or the capacity to understand how much better they truly could be in life.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Tolerance; trust; loyalty...in that order.
What's the best age to get married?
Subjective question: Depends on person, culture, and attitude.
What turns you off?
Mindless questions I should be responding to a human being, not a two dimensional program.
What turns you on?
Anything real.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
Starting my own charity.
