Try me and I won't disappoint

I have a wide range of interests and hobbies. I'm an only child so pretty independent and more on the intellectual side of the spectrum. I have a deep interest in learning and traveling. I've got a zany sense of humor through it all though. I like to stay active when I'm not writing or reading or pursuing some other activity. If I'm not up in the mountains with a telescope doing astrophotography I might be found out in Joshua Tree digging up fossils. Among other things I do: - Hiking / Exploring - Archery - Weight training - Tennis I'm an avid photographer and also a writer and author of two historical fiction novels. Writing is a great passion of mine, as is my interest in everything from astronomy and paleontology to history and traveling. I love animals and nature. Not a huge sports fan but I do love pro-football and though its not something I'll willfully watch, I can be coerced into watching basketball. I'm extremely personable, warm and love good conversation. Oh, and humor is essential! I have no children or crazy ex-girlfriends in case you're curious about that! Ok, and I love margaritas and just about anything that has rum in it. :) Oh, and I really like to cook so, if I like you I'll cook for you!
