A friendly man

Hi there. I'm a hard working man who likes to enjoy the company of a nice lady. One of my passions is sharing knowledge. If you have a curious mind then I take delight in and derive pleasure from enriching your mental capacity. I used to be in education in case you were wondering. I'm pretty extroverted. I like people; I enjoy their company unless, of course, they are visiting from a different planet (if you catch my drift). In that case I like to keep them at an arm's length. I'm neither equipped to listen to their dramas nor handle their issues. Just a quick and polite "thank you and good bye." Please do not misunderstand me. I do not claim to be a genius; I bear my share of intellectual shortcomings, but, having said that, a man can look at a pretty face only for a while before he longs for mental stimulation as well. To be totally frank, I wasn't always a big fan of long distance relationship, but beginning with late summer of 2015 I had a change of heart. It occurred to me that all that time I was artificially limiting my choices. I'm looking for a lady with not necessarily identical interests but perhaps parallel ones. Depth is what I seek; caring and compassion are must; loyalty is absolutely imperative. Good sense of humor goes a long way. Family is important. Family gatherings every now and then are always fun. I have more to say, but hopefully I get to tell you in person soon. Bye for now.

Insights
Describe the perfect evening.
You know the evening is going great anytime you feel comfortable enough to share loud laughs with someone.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
Every human has a degree of susceptibility to that. I am not an exception to that rule. In and of itself it is not a bad thing. We should be careful, however, not to lose sight of other relevant matters. We should strive to be in control of our feelings and thoughts. Unbridled feelings will cloud our judgment and impair our wisdom; they will make us more prone to take unwarranted leaps of faith. Therefore, it is crucial that we find and establish meaningful connections with a potential partner before we allow our emotions take flights of fancy.
How important is someone's physical appearance to you?
It is always a plus if your date is easy on the eyes :)
What is the purpose of marriage?
Can a bird without wings fly? Can a fish without fins swim? Can a rose without water blossom? Similarly, marriage is the glue that bonds the soulmates together. It is the rock onto which love leans to gain strength. It is the mirror that reflects the light of respect onto the partners. It is the thunder that bellows the flames of passion.
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
Over the years working with other people I've learned that pride, envy, and selfishness make you do unGodly things.
What do your friends like about you most?
Dependable, honest, compassionate, and caring.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Trust, respect, and loyalty rank high.
What's the best age to get married?
Whenever you meet the right person and feel confident enough to commit.
What turns you off?
Bad hygiene.
What turns you on?
A beautiful smile melts the coldest mountain snow.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
Together with my life partner I would be doing whatever it takes to strengthen our love and deepen our understanding of each other. Hopefully by then we will have made plenty of fond memories together.
