Are you interested?
In their own words

Ench besses!

Most of my work and interests come from building and creating things. Intellects, relationships, and communities. Or a model car, or my model railroad, or a picture I draw or take with my camera, and then wait for the surprise I get when the film gets developed. Or anything else I do. Interests: cars, trains, building models, cooking, reading, music, photography, woodworking, architecture, drawing and history. I'm also very active in the Masons. I'm generally easy to get along with, like a good laugh, great discussion and debate, and finding new and interesting places to explore. I'm looking for someone who's honest, good-humored, fun to be around, intelligent and has a wide variety of interests. I don't want someone who's difficult to get along with, snobby, or who refuses to help themselves with their problems, or accept help offered. I prefer a non-smoker and a non- or light drinker.

Insights
Describe the perfect evening.
Assuming this is with someone special, a nice dinner, perhaps a movie or a band we both like, and well....you know- that kinda stuff later.:) If it's another singles night (and most of them are,) at home either watching a show I enjoy, reading, or building a model car or doing something with my model railroad.
Describe your perfect weekend.
A perfect weekend would be leaving either Friday night or Saturday morning, with only a general destination in mind, a picnic lunch, lots of sightseeing, a quiet candlelit dinner and more sightseeing on the way home, with the possibility of calling out sick on Monday if an exceptionally good time is being experienced.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
Perhaps. Lust, maybe, but love comes as you get to know someone.
How many kids would you like to have?
I'd still like one of my own. If you have children already, it's not a deal-breaker by any stretch of the imagination.
How important is someone's physical appearance to you?
I won't say it's unimportant, but to me, beautiful is beautiful, no matter size, shape, color, or anything else.
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
Grant a brain to our brainless politicians so they can see what damage they've all done to our country with over-regulation, too many handouts and listening to special interests too much and not We, the People.
What is the purpose of marriage?
To provide love, companionship, support, and someone to go through life with.
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
Try to find a way to contribute to society somehow. Be loyal to those who deserve it, help those that need it as much as you can.
What do your friends like about you most?
I'm loyal, good to talk to, good sense of humor.
What do your friends tease you about the most?
My grumpiness probably; I tend to be a bit like Andy Rooney. The fact that the modern world left me behind technologically, and that I'm perfectly happy with that.
What gets on your nerves?
Stupidity, immaturity, chronic poor decision-making, dishonesty.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
A lot of things. I think communication is important, although I tend to stay quiet, but if something is important, I'll say something. Respecting oneanother's space is also important; we are two people with our own lives and identities, and we shouldn't fuse or meld, but there's no reason we can't be together. I like someone that has a lot of interests and likes to explore and learn just for learning's sake. I think physical closeness is very important, along with the compatibility that extends to more intimate things. That's something I don't want to discuss too much here, but will talk about face to face. I think it's important to have someone to lean on, but not break with complaining and upset.
What's the best age to get married?
Hopefully while you're still young enough to enjoy it.
What turns you off?
Rudeness, heavy smoking or drinking, mental and emotional abuse, not being able to at least try to accept people for who they are, and people who don't try to help themselves no matter how bad it is. You can always help yourself, or at least try. Lastly, games and deciet are two things I have no use for.
What turns you on?
Confidence, intelligence, a great smile, a good sense of humor, a lady who knows she's beautiful regardless of size or shape, kindness, love, and someone who cares about others.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
Ask me in five years.
